Loving Jon Stewart
I'm working my way through America (The Book). You've got to read this book. There hasn't been a single page so far (on page 183 now) that hasn't had at least one out-loud laugh on it.
This, from one of the Discussion Questions in the chapter on "The Future of Democracy":
4. What form of government would you like to see after our democracy finally eats itself, then shits itself out, and then re-eats its own self-shit in 2007? Express your answer in tears.
Like I said. Genius

Wow! My friends had been talking about what was in the book, but they only gave general examples. I now think it's awesome that someone brought this book into my work and left it in the break room.
By the way, I found your blog last week when I was searching for an audio file of the Eddie Izzard quote about Jeff, the God of Biscuits.
Jon Stewart is a comic genius! I've already added America (The Book) to my Wish List.
Having read your excerpt, I think I may very go down to the bookstore downstairs and buy it today.
I wonder if Jon would swing both ways. Cause I willingly do genius.
Having read my previous comment, however, I apparently will not be willingly sleeping with myself. Pity.
Misguided modesty...not a good color on you. :)
