You know how those people are.

I also like to picture such people as not merely ugly, but the sort of hideous that polite strangers are caught off guard by their gnarled features and so audibly gasp in horror and shock.

Have you ever seen such a person? Have you thought, "poor soul... god, to go through life like that..."

Of course, people who look that way on the outside are often beautiful on the inside. But to be that way on the inside... oh, god. To go through life like that... *shudder*

I am sorry that there are folks in the world who are in such pain and so gnarled inside they must inflict their crap on other folks when they are in pain. To live in such a hell realm while alive is a fate worse than death. What is really sad, is that they have generated the karma to be where they are, and they continue to generate the karma to keep them there.

I know you suffer now Jeff and Sam, but I am certain that it will change, that on the other side is something else, and that you can move out of this. And while you are suffering, know that many of us share your pain, and are sitting here with ya, carrying that part we can share.

Someone said earlier it's a small man who kicks you when you're down. It's an even smaller man who kicks you when your trying to help up someone else who's stumbled.

You're doing the right thing, the best response is to wipe off the crap that they hurl at you, and get back to being brave in the face of tough times.

I know the blogging helps you process, but maybe it's time to turn off the responses for a while. Those of us who care for you will be patient until the loonies and low lifes wander off to rain on someone elses parade.

I've only gotten a few nasty comments, and I was always tempted to keep them because I thought they might add balance or perspective. Then I came to my senses, and decided that no hate was getting posted on my real estate. Ban those hateful. Ban those cowardly. Ban those bastards. PS - It sounds like congrats are in order. So, Congrats.
