Nine-Eleven™

The text of it:
Look, I know the area, I’ve been there, I know wars, I know how to win wars, and I know how to improve our capabilities so that we will capture Osama Bin Laden — or put it this way, bring him to justice. We will do it. I know how to do it.
You know how to win wars? No, Senator McCain, you don’t know how to win wars, you only know how to get yourself captured during one.
That’s how a Republican would do things were McCain a Democrat.
You really should watch the video below. I’ll let Keith Olbermann talk more about the fact that McCain seems to be saying “vote for me and then I’ll capture bin Laden”. I’ll only add that, by extension, McCain is actually saying that unless you vote for him, he won’t tell you how to capture bin Laden”.
That’s how a thinking person would interpret McCain:

lets see. McBrilliant visited all three memorials on 9/11. B-Ho, i love that name, visited the trade center and went to lunch with Clinton. hmmm. country first B-Ho
only know how to get captured? desperate liberals say desperate things. and most of the time, hateful and truly un-american. at least he went to war, on his own, and stayed in a POW camp because he felt it was the right thing to do. but i guess you really have to hate this country to say things like that. desperate liberals say desperate things. engage brain before starting mouth i can remember our parents saying
I guess you just plum missed the part where I said I was putting on Republican attitudes when I said that.
Then again, how did McCain *choose* to stay put in a prison camp?
-----------
Did you even watch that video?
3 visits, 3 obvious photo ops.
in the military there is a pecking order. the NVA were going to let McCain go but he wasnt next in line to leave the camp. he stayed and let the next one in line go home. country first. putting others before him. smashed arms. mangled fingers and he stayed for more. plum missed that part because it was meaningless to me. you should not have said that in any way. that is disrespectful to a man who put his life on the line for our freedom
that's certainly not meaningless, but it has NOTHING to do with his capacity to be President. Nothing at all.
And if he were really selfless and devoting himself to the COUNTRY, he wouldn't have changed so many of his positions just to get elected.
I'm shocked that those who support him don't insist that he acts with as much (ahem) maverick candor and admit his contradictions and at least give it a go in getting back to the McCain that both sides of the aisle used to respect.
2002: states that the operations in Iraq will be short and swift, ostensibly using his "I know the area, I know how to win a war, I know how to find bin Laden" powers to lend authority to his statements.
2006: states that EVERYONE new when it started that it would be a long and difficult struggle.
----
2000: states that he won't support overtrning Roe v Wade because all it would do is send women to back-alleys where the procedure wouldn't be as safe, etc.
2008: "I fully support overturning Roe v Wade
----
Just go watch the video, you'll see.
And by the way, there's no Iraq "War". Technically it's a police action, because the Congress hasn't used it's most powerful and formidable Power: the Declaration of War.
tell me the many qualifications of Hussien and what makes him a great candidate. Hope? change? or instead of voting yes or no, voting "present" almost 130 times. a community antagonist or a community aggitator certainly is not credentials for president. otherwise Jesse jackson or al sharpton would have already been president.
